The twin room was well-equipped with all the essentials, featuring a microwave oven, coffee and tea-making facilities, and a refrigerator. the hotel's location was very convenient, situated right next to the IGA supermarket.

Pleasant hotel located just off which is nice after spending hours in the car, city centre and the IGA supermarket. Compact and modern room provided with hair dryer and appliances. Incredible, fantastic location to restaurants that were open.

I'm happy to share my experience from my recent stay at Otway Gate Motel. It was truly a pleasant experience. the location is fantastic, right next to the beautiful Botanical Gardens, which is wonderful after a long drive. It's also conveniently close to a supermarket, making everything easy to access. I had a great stay!

The room was well-furnished and comfortable, featuring a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. the bathroom was fantastic. the hotel is conveniently located near the creek by Lake Colac, the Botanic Gardens, and the city center with shops nearby.

The staff here are friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed a wonderfully comfortable room with a bath and cozy electric blankets.

The location is superb, conveniently situated next to the IGA supermarket. It’s also very close to Lake Colac, the Botanic Gardens, and shops, making it a delightful spot after a long drive.

The motel was conveniently located close to supermarkets, takeaway food, and other facilities. But what really impressed me was the array of trees and gardens surrounding the property. It felt like stepping into a lush oasis in the middle of a volcanic plain. Walking through the gardens was like wandering through a botanical wonderland, with colorful flowers and native plants at every turn. It was the perfect accommodation for nature enthusiasts like me visiting the nearby national parks.

I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and refurbished room at Otway Gate Motel. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was in great condition. I really appreciated the provision of a microwave, plates, and cutlery, making it convenient for me to enjoy a meal in the room. The side tables with phone charging plugs were a thoughtful touch. Despite being on the main road, the motel was within walking distance of the town center and a perfect location for exploring the waterfalls in the Otway area. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this motel.

The room was perfect for us with a great air con, comfy bed, and recently renovated bathroom. We enjoyed the free coffee and other food items provided in the large and spacious room. The hotel's location is great and close to everything we did while in this city. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, making our stay a pleasant one.

Nothing that we didn't like.

The rooms at this hotel have recently been refurbished, with fabulous bathrooms and showers. The attention to detail is impressive, with bath sheets provided instead of the usual towels. The hotel also offers well-placed air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, and even a microwave. Additionally, the breakfast options are both delicious and reasonably priced.

All was in order, nothing to complain about.

The room at Otway Gate Motel was perfect for us vegetarians and vegans. With the toaster, kettle, and microwave, we could easily prepare our plant-based meals. Plus, the air conditioning added to our comfort during our stay.

Personally, I found the DVD player in the room unnecessary, but I understand others may still enjoy it.

Our visit to Colac Golf Club and the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk was absolutely unforgettable. The motel's convenient location, only an 8-minute drive from the golf club and a scenic 50-minute drive from the tree top walk, made it easy for us to explore these amazing attractions. We also loved the variety of room sizes available at the motel, ensuring that there was enough space to comfortably accommodate our large family. The rooms were equipped with DVD players and the DVD library provided entertainment for the kids. the motel provided a great base for our family adventures.

My wife says that for families with children, it would be great if the motel had some outdoor recreational activities available, such as ten pin bowling or lawn bowls. This would have been a fun addition to our stay and provided more options for the kids to enjoy.

The room at Otway Gate Motel was cozy and perfect for our family of six. With two double beds and two single beds, it had enough space for everyone. The air conditioning kept us cool, and having a flat-screen TV, toaster, kettle, and microwave made us feel at home.

Personally, I would have preferred a coffee machine instead of a toaster, but that's just my opinion.

The rooms are beautifully renovated with new furniture and fittings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location with convenient amenities nearby. Clean rooms with all necessary facilities. Comfortable beds and good shower pressure. Well-maintained air conditioning. Good TV reception with Netflix available. Fresh milk provided for coffee/tea.
